The plastic is good quality, I&rsquo;m moving parts of Bowser it doesn&rsquo;t appear that anything will come loose or break easily. The colors are vibrant and the fire breathing effect is amazing. I was very surprised at the quality of the toy. The surprising effect of lighting up and breathing smoke made everyone say how cool that is! This was a birthday present for my 7 year old and had many hours of fun with Bowser and still do! Not a small one that will get tossed in a trinket box. You pull the shell off, and unscrew the battery cover to install three triple A batteries, which are not included. After installation you fill up the little water bottle which is included and add a few drops of water and with the touch of a button, Bowser is, &quot;breathing smoke.&quot; It's a great toy for any Mario fans. Came out at a great time with the new film. The kids love it and are getting such a kick out of it! I like how you add a few drops of water as instructed and Bowser will breath out smoke. My son was pretty entertained with it but was disappointed that he didn't walk.
